Recruit.

For over a decade, Morana has been missing. When she vanished, Gwyar vanished with her.

Five years ago, Atlas found her submarine. Kida. They have not been able to wake her.

We believe Kida knows where Gwyar lies. We need her back, and we need you.

We have chosen the best engineers and archaeologists we could find. You are one of them.

Tell no one where you’re going.

The Shattering of Awen

What you must understand

Long before the first stones of Rome were laid, the druids walked the groves and hills of these isles. Keepers of knowledge. Healers, seers, scholars. They knew the world was older than anyone remembered.

In the ruins of three ancient civilisations, each lost to the others across vast stretches of time, they found what they had been searching for. Three primal crystals, each holding dominion over part of reality itself.

REF 01

Nwyfre

The red crystal

Dominion over air and fire.

REF 02

Gwyar

The blue crystal

Dominion over the waters and the oceans of time.

REF 03

Calas

The green crystal

Dominion over all substance and matter.

The druids learned what the ancients never grasped. Kept apart, the crystals spread chaos wherever they rest. Only bound together can they hold the world in balance.

Three sisters of the druid line forged a vessel to hold them as one. They named it Awen, after the druids’ word for the sacred spark of inspiration. Each sister swore to guard one crystal for all time. Together, they founded us. Aether.

Then Atlas came. Relic hunters, hungry for power and control, who saw in Awen the means to remake creation. War followed. It tore at the fabric of reality, and Awen was shattered.

Rather than let the crystals fall into Atlas’ hands, the sisters took them and fled. Each hid her crystal where no hunter could follow. Then they vanished, scattered across the ages.

⚠ Hostile Atlas never stopped searching. Today it is led by Morgan Le Blade. He will stop at nothing.
